Every Day Feels Like a First Friday
Well, folks, by popular demand, we are changing this so now every day is a First Friday! Even though we still have only minimal furniture in the Lounge……
No matter, today is Friday. It is the first day of April. It is after the last day of March. It is also U.S. Air Force Academy Day, National Walk to Work Day, Hospital Admitting Clerks Day, One Cent Day, Boomer Bonus Days, Edible Book Day, Fossil Fools Day, International Fun at Work Day, International Tatting Day, Library Snap Shot Day, Myles Day, National Atheist Day, National Fun Day, National Sourdough Bread Day, Poetry & The Creative Mind Day, Reading is Funny Day, St. Stupid Day.
Instead of drinks, we thought we would have a parade! So let’s start marching through the halls! The firm is counting on you to fall in line with the crowd, and march!
Leave your laptop plugged in, though. At least until you’re ready to go home for the day. - CAH

Why Chicago is better than California
- We can afford to buy houses.
- We had 60 degree weather in February (at least on one day).
- We get snow days (when our kids don’t go to school and we have to stay home and miss a day of work).
- Our pizza is better (than SF, NY and anywhere else except maybe Italy).
- We are friendly (well so is California).
“WTF Wellness Wednesday?!”
To shake things up, the Firm’s cruise director is instituting a “Get Real” day – the first Monday, second Wednesday, third Tuesday, and last Thursday of each month. On that day, the refreshment machines in the kitchens will be stocked with yummy soda (see below) and MTF (“Matt the Fink”)’s special snack concoction will be available (see below). Enjoy!
