Boot Camp - Working Outside the Office

VPN – Connecting from Outside the Office

While working outside the office, you will establish a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection to the office to access all your documents, programs and data. Note: you do not need to establish a VPN connection to use Outlook.

  • · From the Start menu, click NicolaidesLLP VPN Connection
  • · Enter your Username: your login ID, first initial last name
  • · Enter your login Password: That you use to login to your computer
  • · Click Connect
    • o The server should already be filled in with vpn.nicolaidesllp.com
    • o The Domain should already be filled in with lawfirm.local
  • · Once a connection is established, you may close the NetExtender window. Your connection will remain active and visible in the System Tray in the lower right corner

Citrix – Connecting from Outside the office

For most, working through VPN from outside the office should be sufficient. However, we find that Tabs3 and Practice Master runs slow through VPN. Therefore, we have a limited number of licenses available for remote access.

Logging into Citrix

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • In the address line type:  citrix.nicolaidesllp.com and press Enter
  • Login with your normal login ID and Password
  • If prompted, click the Desktop button
  • You will be connected to the Citrix Desktop where you will have access to all your normal applications, including Tabs3 and Practice Master

Logging out of Citrix

  • When finished, please save all work and close all applications
  • From the Start menu, click Log Off
  • From the Citrix screen upper right corner, click the drop down arrow next to your user ID and click Log Off
  • Close Internet Explorer

Outlook Web Access:

Using any web-browser, navigate to https://mail.nicolaidesllp.com/owa

Note: you must use HTTPS for a secure connection

Enter your user name (first initial last name), login password and click Sign In

You may see this screen the first time you log in.
