- Prior approval is required for:
- Motions for Summary Judgement and appeals
- Experts and other non-firm personnel
- Multi-attendance by more than one attorney at any deposition, conference, trial or other hearing
- Long distance travel requires client authorization, billed at 50% (must include in the time entry billed at 50%)
- Courier/Delivery fees are not billable
- Legal research exceeding four (4) hours requires client authorization (Lexis/Westlaw not billable)
All costs incurred related to the file over $500 must be approved by handler
