- Staffing by more than one attorney, requires prior approval from the claim handler assigned to the case
- Additional staff or staff changes must be approved to the assigned examiner for approval
- Internal Meetings/memos not billable
- Legal research exceeding ten(10) hours requires client authorization
- Cannot bill over more than 10 hours across files in one day
- Travel billable at full hourly rate enter as single entry (requires prior approval)
- Local travel is defined as travel to/from withing two ours of firm (requires prior approval
- Vendor expenses over $2,500 require pre-approval attached to invoice
- Provide a budget with 90 days of assignment
- Bill within 6 months to avoid stale billing
