Nicolaides Continues Its Steady Growth and Announces the move from San Diego to Fresno, Ca
Fresno, April 1, 2014 — Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP (Nicolaides), the world’s leading insurance coverage law firm, announced today that it will move its San Diego Office to Fresno, Ca. The addition of the Central Valley office further cements Nicolaides status as the go-to insurance coverage law firm in California.
“It’s important for us to have a strong presence in California,” said founding partner Richard J. Nicolaides. “Carriers do not take you seriously unless you have a presence in the state’s premier city.”
“As a Californian, I know firsthand the importance of establishing an office in Fresno,” said founding partner Sara M. Thorpe. “Whether cow tipping constitutes an ‘occurrence’ under a standard CGL policy is a hot-button issue. The majority of such claims are made in the Fresno area. It’s important we have boots on the ground or, rather, in the manure, if you will.”
The Fresno office will be headed by associate Seth J. Manfredi (pictured below), who was born and raised in the Fresno area. “I am excited about the opportunity to move back in with my parents,” said Mr. Manfredi. Both Jeff Labovitch and Erica Sanchez will be moving to Fresno to support Seth in this new endeavor.
Nicolaides is also considering opening offices in Bakersfield, California; Rockford, Illinois; Charleston, West Virginia; and Timbuktu, Mali.
